Ingredients
1 cup suji
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp roughly crushed green cardamom
2 pinch salt
2 cup water
2 tsp ghee or oil
As needed Oil for deep frying
2 bay leaves
Steps
Take a deep pan and pour water into it
Then add sugar, salt, oil or ghee, crushed cardamom, bay leaves into water and put on flame to boil
Now add suji slowly slowly in 3 to 4 batches into the water
At the same time stir continuously to avoid forming of lumps
Then reduce the flame to low and allow it to cook for another couple of minutes
Now we will get a thick mixture
Now keep the mixture on a flat plate to cool, and now take out of bay leaves into suji which we added in water
After 5 minutes take a little ghee or oil in your palm and knead well
Now grease your hands and divide the dough into equal portions
Then flatten the dough balls with your palm
Now heat oil for deep frying and deep fry these pithas in medium flame till golden brown
